Please join us for an update on Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) predicate orders in Illinois.

CVLS attorneys Julie Pellerite and Rebekah Rashidfarokhi will share information about emerging issues and recent legal developments impacting Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases, including changes in local Cook County practices, troubleshooting in atypical situations, and how to advise clients in light of the recent cancellation of deferred action for SIJS recipients. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session. Julie and Rebekah will also provide information on CVLS’ Pro Bono SIJS program and how to get involved.
