We’re looking for volunteers to assist with pro bono immigration services—no prior immigration experience necessary!

What:

Volunteers will conduct interviews with potential CVLS clients over Zoom, using our detailed immigration intake questionnaire.

When:

Saturday, April 12th, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM

Location: Zoom

Training:

A brief 30-minute training video will be provided in advance. During the clinic, experienced immigration attorney supervisors will be available to review interviews and offer guidance.

Additional Details:

Spanish-speaking volunteers are especially helpful, but interpreters will be available—so don’t worry if you’re not bilingual. CVLS staff will follow up with the clients after the clinic to provide further legal advice.

How to Sign Up:

If you’re ready to connect with clients and offer crucial legal support, sign up here. If you’re also interested in taking on an immigration case, please contact Julie Pellerite at JPellerite@cvls.org. Thank you for your dedication to pro bono immigration legal services with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services!
