CVLS is excited to introduce its new staff immigration attorney, Julie Reiter Pellerite. Julie supports, organizes and trains wonderful CVLS volunteers on immigration cases to make the biggest impact in the most cost-effective way possible.
More About Julie...
Julie is a compassionate immigration advocate who has worked in the private bar and in non-profit legal services agencies for 15 years. She loves working with volunteers and mentoring them through their immigration cases. When asked ‘why’, she says “it brings me immense joy to see volunteers connect with our local immigrant communities and to empower pro bono attorneys to provide high quality pro bono immigration legal services that would not have been possible if not for their service.” Immigration law is complex, but Julie knows how to break it down into bite-size pieces. She speaks Spanish and is member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
