After two years, the Lawyers Helping Our Community Legal Clinic will be closing down. Always intended to be temporary, the virtual legal clinic was designed to help Chicago's Asian community deal with legal issues arising from COVID-19. As the chaos surrounding the pandemic subsides, so too has the need for COVID specific representation.

"We would like to thank you all and CVLS for supporting our mission and making this happen during COVID when people in our community were in desperate need for help!" clinic co-founder Erica Yang of Vedder Price said in her statement closing the clinic. "We will continue to support our community and CVLS by volunteering at the Chinatown Legal Clinic."

Thank you Erica, and her co-founder Eric Zhi of Kirkland and Ellis for all of your hard work, and to all of the wonderful volunteers who supported the clinic during its operation.
