This presentation is the first in a series of presentations that will cover the fundamentals of immigration law practice for attorneys interested in volunteering at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA)-Chicago Volunteer Legal Services clinic. Parts 1 and 2 will give an overview of immigration law, the most common case types encountered at the AILA Clinic, how to handle those cases, and issue-spotting.
