Jackalyn

Leonard Conapinski CVLS Volunteer

When Jackalyn's parents couldn't take care of her, both sets of grandparents fought for guardianship. As angry feelings escalated, the judge appointed CVLS to be the child's Guardian Ad Litem and attorney.

Although CVLS volunteer Leonard Conapinski was ready for trial, he knew that a courtroom battle wasn't good for anyone, let alone his young client.

He asked the judge for a conference, where the parties reached an agreement that allows them all to enjoy an active role in raising this delightful three year old.
