Illinois Department of Revenue: The primary responsibility of the Department of Revenue is to serve as the tax collection agency for state government and for local governments. The department also oversees local property tax assessments, and functions as the funding agent for the Illinois Housing Development Authority.

Illinois Office of State Guardian: The Office of State Guardian (OSG) is the largest public guardianship agency of its kind in the United States, serving nearly 5,300 adult disabled wards. With cases in virtually every Illinois county, the Office of State Guardian handles the personal, financial, and legal affairs of developmentally disabled, mentally ill and elderly persons with disablilities.

Illinois Attorney General's Office: The Attorney General is the state's chief legal officer and is responsible for protecting the public interest of the state and its people.

Office of the State Appellate Defender: The principal function of the Office of the State Appellate Defender is to represent indigent persons on appeal in criminal cases when appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court, the Appellate Court or the Circuit Court.
