Background

You may know about Race Judicata®, CVLS' 5k run and walk, but it's not necessary to run over three miles to enjoy a great time and help CVLS raise money. Now there's no excuse for staying at the office. We'll supply the GPS-equipped golf cart as you make your way down 6,731 yards of tournament caliber fairways designed by Dick Nuget

Come out to beat other Chicago law firms in the Law Firm competition. Not part of a firm? No problem! Come out to compete against other teams in the Open Division or, enjoy a great round of non-competitive golf, and, oh yeah, benefit CVLS too!

You'll get a deli lunch before and a great dinner buffet following your round, prizes, giveaways, longest drive and cosest to the pin prizes, and a chance to win $20,000 in the Hole-In-One Challenge.

Two Person Scramble Rules

  1. A scramble means that both the team members tee off on each hole and then decide which tee shot they like the best.
  2. The other team member picks up his/her ball and places it within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the best ball. Each team member hits their ball from that spot.
  3. This procedure is followed on every shot for the remainder of the hole, including putts. Putts need to be made within 3 inches of the marked spot (no closer to the hole).
  4. If the ball you choose to play is in a hazard (sand, rough, etc.), you can not drop the ball outside of the hazard or rough even if relief is within one club length away.
  5. If the ball you choose to play has gone in the water or out of bounds, you must take your penalty before you drop or re-hit.
  6. Each team must use at least two of each team members tee shots on each nine (minimum two tee shots per player).
  7. Men tee off from the white tees and women from the red tees.
  8. We will have prizes for best two-man team, two-woman team and co-ed team.
