Rebekah Azar Rashidfarokhi

Rebekah joined CVLS in 2007. Since that time, she has worked on a wide variety of cases, including probate, family law, and mortgage foreclosure defense. Rebekah currently directs the Guardian ad Litem Program for Minors, in which CVLS is directly appointed by the Cook County Circuit Court to represent the best interests of children involved in guardianship and custody disputes. Prior to law school, Rebekah worked at a non-profit immigration clinic at the US-Mexico border. During law school, she interned at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Bogota, Colombia, and at two international firms in Madrid. She is currently a Director of the CBA Young Lawyers' Section and serves on the Junior Leadership Council of the National Immigrant Justice Center and the National Board of Directors of the Iranian-American Bar Association.
