Keri externed with CVLS in 2007 and following graduation worked as a staff attorney and pro bono coordinator at the Lawyers’ Committee for Better Housing.  Keri represented tenants in eviction court and advocated for large tenant groups in building court.  Keri also trained lawyers to represent defendants in eviction court  and facilitated seminars for Chicago renters about their rights under  Chicago’s Residential Landlord Tenant Ordinance.   Keri received her Bachelors degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University and her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She was admitted to practice in the state of Illinois in May of 2008.
